Sophia Series: 33 weeks inside Mommy!

For this photo shoot with Dr. Paul Redman, Sophia's pose was upside-down, face-down! So for a while, we were only able to see the back of her pretty little head! Then, for about five minutes, both hands were covering her face; you can still see a hand with pointed finger near her eye in the first photo of the series, (careful there, Sophia!). However, with Dr. Paul's skillful handling of his high-tech 3-d ultrasound camera, and a little shifting on mom's part, we were able to sneak a side view of little Sophia's face. For the last two photos in the series, she began to turn towards us for a little clearer view.

As we marvel over these photos, the verse comes to mind, "Now we see through a glass dimly,...but then, we will see face to face!" I Corinthians 13:12. We are eager to greet our new little family member face to face in just 6 1/2 weeks!

Image 3: Chin up!
Image 4: Maybe I'll turn my head,...(Dr. Paul said the white spots to the left of her nose are actually part of her hand where she has positioned it near that side of her face, so only one of her eyes is actually visible in this photo).

Mia and Papa said...

Oh, my gosh; oh, my gosh; oh, my gosh! What a precious little doll! Thank you, God, for allowing us to see a little glimpse of something so precious that only your eyes had seen in the past! Sweet Sophia, it's Mia! Yes, Mia, your "Grandma Mia." I live in Georgia, but my heart is in Texas with you! And I can't wait to hold you, hug you, kiss you, and bless you with your heart's desires! But I know Papa will want his turn, so after we go shopping, you and he can watch cartoons! Well, I'm sure you'll do other things...but having a little girl is new to both of us! Teach us about girly things, OK? I can't wait till you are with us all--though I know you love being inside Mommy. But we're coming to Texas to see you very soon! We're praying for your big day! Hug, hug, kiss on cheek! Love from Mia!
