Sophia's Fourth Day
Here's an impromptu video Annie Kate made on Sophia's fourth day of life. It's quite dark, but thought it worth posting for those of you who want to see Sophia in action. This video also features Mia, Tim's mom.

~Sophia's Nursery~
Welcome to Sophia's nursery! Here's a little video tour of the finished product. We had alot of fun putting it all together. Kate did most of the fun stuff-choosing fabrics and colors. We chose the furniture together, and Tim did all the manly work of painting walls, assembling furniture, and hanging pictures. We just need our little pumpkin to come and grace us with her presence! Won't be long now....

Two Great Grandmothers and one Terrific Pepaw!
Without further adieu, we would like to introduce (drumroll........)Margaret Court Curtis, known affectionately to us as Mimi! Mimi is Tim's grandmother on his mother's side. She is characterized by her fun-loving, energetic, and generous nature, and her many facets include accountant, businesswoman, boardmember, bible teacher, italian cook extradonnaire, and most recently even fashion show model! Timothy's fondest childhood memory with Mimi is playing cowboys and indians in his living room tee-pee! And she still has twice the energy of someone half her age! But what we love most about Mimi is her unquenchable love and the genuine care she shows for all of her family. We know Sophia Claire will fall in love with her just like the rest of us already have!
Granny: A True Original
Here is Granny (a.k.a. Faye Miller), Annie Kate's grandmother and Pop's mother, (that's Annie Kate's dad). Granny will have her very first great grandchild within a few short weeks, (2 if the due date is correct)! At 96 years old, she has waited a long time for this! But Granny is as healthy as they come. She takes no medication, (not even aspirin), and lived in her own home independently until the last couple of years. Granny's hobbies are beating the family at Scrabble games and working elaborate puzzles. She's turning 97 on November 22nd, and is holding out that Sophia might share a birthday with her!
Meet Pepaw: A True Rennaisance Man
Pepaw, Tim's grandfather and Mia's father, is a true Rennaisance man, who has lived quite an adventurous life! His latest hobby is videography, and he has created a great 4 1/2 minute short piece for Sophia, and for us, to enjoy (see below)! Thank you, Pepaw, for this little piece of history to pass down to your soon-to-come great grandaughter!

First Shower for Sophia in Sulphur Springs!
The first shower for Sophia was Labor Day weekend in Sulphur Springs, Annie Kate's childhood home. The beautifully planned event was packed with dear friends of the Miller's and held in the home Gregg and Debbie Price.

Image 3: Gifts, gifts and more gifts! There were so many gifts in the living room, that these had to be kept out on the porch!
Image 4: So many gifts that "Grammy" had to help open, (and why shouldn't she?!)! We must have opened gifts for almost three hours straight!
Image 5: Annie Kate with hostess, Debbie- THANK YOU, Debbie and Gregg, for opening your home and blessing us with such an unforgettable shower for Sophia! We love you!

Sophia Series: 33 weeks inside Mommy!
As we marvel over these photos, the verse comes to mind, "Now we see through a glass dimly,...but then, we will see face to face!" I Corinthians 13:12. We are eager to greet our new little family member face to face in just 6 1/2 weeks!
